Glad you are feeling bette...hey chick!

Welcome back! Glad you are feeling better!

I tried to weigh in once a month, but I find that if I dont keep tabs at least once a week, I slack off and have a big letdown on my weigh in day..

I think the reason that the numbers bother us so much is that in other aspects of our lives, when you do the correct things the correct way, things usually go as planned -you succeed. The body pretty much does its own thing on its own time. When it decides to slow down or plateau, especially when we are working our hardest, that throws us because the body is not going with the program!

Just think Nona, one day we will be all past this!

Then I'll start obsessing about men.. :)Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10534079617865540609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6062845128478557756.post-7767572250792149072007-11-27T17:44:00.000-05:002007-11-27T17:44:00.000-05:005-6 times a day. That would drive me crazy ... I ...5-6 times a day. That would drive me crazy ... I guess that's your point. Powerful post!!!

You know, it's interesting we handle the scale differently but it has the same power over both of us. The power to destroy our self-esteem and self-worth.

I go to the opposite extreme from you. I only weigh myself once a month and when I do I feel like I'm going before my executioner. Right now I am part of a challenge that requires that I weigh myself every Monday for the next few weeks and its sheer torture.

Like you if the number is not right for me whenever I weigh all hell breaks loose ... in my head anyway.

I try to tell myself that I weigh once a month because what is important to me is not the number on the scale but the day to day choices I make regarding exercise and what I eat. This of course is true, but I'd be lying if I did not say that when the numbers on the scale don't drop drastically and consistently it wounds me a little ... no ... A LOT ;[Nonahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02311524237685118289noreply@blogger.com
